I created this painting inspired by the calm beauty of a sunlit pond covered with blooming water lilies. I built the entire surface with thick palette-knife strokes, letting the texture capture the reflections on the water and the warm light above. I wanted the lilies to feel alive, glowing softly against the deep blue tones of the pond.
