Original artwork description
This figurative sculpture has been created from one whole 12" vinyl music record (Tracey Ullman- "You Broke My Heart In 17 Places"), and mounted upon a custom, hand formed acrylic base: Baby blue perspex circle, blue fluorescent edged rectangle and clear acrylic block. The liquid-like figure has been created using various heat sources. Fine art practice contrasts with modern materials.
The sculptures are caught in states of movement, dance and musing. Function becomes form.
