Artwork description
Etching miniprint of a washing line on the north Cornish Coast. The wetsuits and swimsuits tell the story of a happy day surfing in the waves in Polzeath. The late afternoon sun is sparkling on the water of the Camel estuary and the sea in the distance.
This etching is hand printed from a copper etching plate. Each print in the edition is inked and wiped and printed on my press in my studio at my home in the Surrey Hills.
