Like everyone else, I also get a lot of advice from friends, family and colleagues around me. To what extent do I let this influence me? Am I stoically going on with my plan? Or do I listen and do I achieve better work? The gnome and crow in this work symbolize ignoring good advice. I go and I fall, but get up again. Knitting the new leg refers to the strength of man to get back up and recreate himself.
