When creating this painting, I wanted to capture the warmth of human connection against the coldness of a snowy night. The glowing red tones of the buildings and the street lamps contrast with the cool blues of the snow, evoking both romance and intensity. The couple walking in the center is the emotional anchor of the composition, embodying warmth and companionship amidst the winter chill.
In terms of technique, I used bold color contrasts and swift brushstrokes to capture the motion of falling snow. By blending light and shadow with slight abstraction, I sought to create a sense of atmosphere and depth, inviting viewers to feel both the cold air and the warmth of presence.
