This painting is inspired by my daily walks throughout the summer months. It describes my journey along pathways lined by hedgerows and undergrowth filled with plants and nature, That wonderful feeling of the warm summer sun shining down upon me, across the landscape, filtering through the trees and reflecting off the leaves and plants. The smell of warm summer air and the sounds of nature.
The artwork has lots of texture and mark making. It is created on canvas and is available to purchase unframed and unstretched. It will require framing. It will be carefully packed flat and sent fully tracked and insured.
