The work is based on the fundamental use of non-artistic materials as a gesture of rejection of “pictorial expressiveness” in favor of the idea and the process. Repetition, grid, office ballpoint pen, and paper become a language through which a fragile, almost imperceptible touch manifests itself—like the concept of presence emerging within a strict, impersonal structure.
The work conveys a moment of almost invisible contact—quiet, cautious, like a breath between two forms. Through the strict grid and rhythm, a feeling of warmth, vulnerability, and subtle connection emerges.
This work speaks of the illusory, fluid, and self-critical nature of contemporary art.
The picture must be expanded and placed in a graphic frame. This can be easily done by yourself or in any baguette workshop.
