Shadow in the Night explores the boundary between matter and presence.
The face emerges from the metal plate like an apparition, both powerful and fragile.
Cut, perforated and worked in relief, the metal becomes lace, allowing light to pass through the work and interact with the wall surface.
Half of the face, painted with pigments, contrasts with the other half, a metal lace made up of an organic network of steel and bronze.
This duality evokes identity, memory, what remains and what disappears.
