An Orientalist painting of an imaginary city somewhere in an imaginary Saharan or Arabian desert. I love the old Orientalist paintings and postcards ( I have a good collection of Orientalist postcards) from the Victorian era and I guess this is a sort of homage to that genre, based on a very limited palette of yellows and reds.
