Artwork description
The inspiration arose from observing the contrast—the delicate, faded blue, typical of old architecture, and the dense, almost velvety moss that relentlessly creeps beneath the peeling paint. This work is a study of how a small crack in the paint, like a gateway, allows nature to take control. I am interested in the moment where chaos becomes composition.
I would like viewers to feel the calmness emanating from the earth tones, yet simultaneously be fascinated by the dynamics of the textures. The work is meant to encourage reflection on the power of nature—it is quiet, slow, but ultimately unstoppable. "Blue and Moss" is a subtle reminder of the fragility of human creations in the face of natural processes.
