Walking in nature (2023) Original Oil Painting by Kujbus Janos

🔷 STORY
In "Walking in nature," I focus on a deep intergenerational clash in how we behave and connect with the world. While one generation seeks the quiet harmony of nature with a traditional mindset, the younger generation brings a raw, digital-era energy into the very same space. I wanted to capture the absolute absurdity of this psychological divide. They stand in the same landscape, yet their ideas of self-awareness and appropriateness are completely polarized, creating a silent friction where communication is impossible. For me, this painting shows how a simple walk reveals a massive generational gap—a world where the old way of looking at life stands frozen right next to a provocative, unapologetic search for contemporary identity.
