My direction and feelings are about the same when I am working! I want to create(is that a pretentious word?) art that I want to "create", that may appeal to another human an be fulfilling to me. Actually very simple!! I don't want to make it seem more important than it actually is- simply art!!
I begin my work without a plan-only to create art that is my own. I am amazed many times by the direction with constant review and movement changes. I hope the viewer finds this as interesting and satisfying as I intend. I love working with acrylic artist paint as it allows the immediate freedom and ability to create or to subtract or add witout fear. Art to me is a struggle to arrive at a desired finale with a feeling of competence and satisfaction although at times with a hint of insecurity. I wish I could express myself better but hope I do that through my art!!
