This painting is inspired by the beautiful and wild Sennen Cove in Cornwall. Me and my family spent the summer holiday nearby in Cornwall. We spent time waiting for the perfect surf day. This was a particularly windy day, but not great for surfing, great for painting though! It's an oil on canvas worked in layers over a number of days. I've used expressionistic marks to create a sense of place.
