Original artwork description
My "Winter" Series is inspired by the book "Wintering". Winter is not only a season, but also an emotional state of having break, being away from it all, pausing, finding back to your core self. We need times of winter.
This is a special watercolor on board painting - watercolors and inks on a museum quality acid free clay on wood panel. This means that the painting is framed without glass just like a normal canvas painting. It has a lot of texture as a means of expressing what winter, winter light and snow mean to me. Light and heavier parts make an interesting composition, so this painting is a little gem!
32x32 cm, watercolor, ink on aquaboard, UV protection varnish, framed in a slim white wooden shadow frame, ready to hang with hooks on the back.
Signed on the back and Certificate of Authenticity.
