Five o'clock series
2026

Five o'clock is a series of artworks that appeared as a response to an online story about one British aristocrat, businessman, and multimillionaire, Sir Benjamin Slade, who was searching for a bride. The premise of the series was a desire to ironically, yet sympathetically, convey an atmosphere of luxury and narcissism through the lens of someone who perceives British upper-class only through the available online simulacra. A narrative emerges in which the older generation becomes the central subject, initiating a reflection on the artist's own understanding of this phenomenon.
