Fashion photographer Jack Shaw shot a long series of b/w photographs in the early 50s for Vanity Fair and Vogue, and they became iconic and related to the period. This is my third repro of one of those photos as a painting. The other 2 sold quickly. There is something very elegant and beautiful, plus very symmetrical in the way that Mark posed his models. It was more than a "fashion" shoot to him, I believe.
Oil on Wood Panel and custom framed - 10x10 in.
