Viva Las Vegas (2020)Linocut

Inspired by the bold energy and retro charm of Las Vegas, this linocut captures the iconic sign that welcomes dreamers and wanderers alike.

Viva Las Vegas is a reduction Lino print.

This means it entirely hand made and no machines or computer’s were involved.

Each layer or colour is printed from one piece of Lino. It is then carved away and another colour printed, this happens repeatedly until the image appears. This print has 10 layers.

The print is 30.7 cm x 20.3 cm and on hand torn paper which measures 35 x 25 cm

The paper is Fabriano Rosapina printmakers paper, and the inks used are light fast matt inks.
