A series of large paintings based on old photographs. I am very fascinated by these photo's. When looking at these pictures I can't help but think, who were these people?
Where did they go after the photo was taken? What were they thinking?
This one is based on the iconic Plimpton's appartement party.
Because I always wondered how these cocktails would taste, I painted myself in the background.
