"Visita al borgo" is an original oil painting on canvas by Antonino Puliafico, developed around architecture, houses and surrounding landscape. Measuring 113 × 125 cm and dated 2025, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
The surface is built through palette knife and impasto, creating a tactile dialogue between colour, depth and movement.
The composition develops architecture, houses and surrounding landscape, favouring atmosphere, movement and sensory impact over photographic description.
Viewed from a distance the composition resolves as a whole; at close range, the viewer encounters the individual marks, ridges and chromatic transitions that animate the surface.
