Original artwork description
Along the coast south of Carmel-by-the-Sea, looking beyond Rocky Point, the cliffs stand in strong backlight, their shadowed faces revealing unexpected violets, purples, and deep blues. Ice plants add flashes of red and green along the rugged slopes, while the Pacific below shifts through luminous blues—from ultramarine to cerulean and turquoise.
Materials: Oil on linen mounted onto MDF panel. The painting is varnished with Gamvar varnish. It is unframed and will easily slot into any standard 11"x14" picture frame.
