I created this large blue beige abstract painting, Violet Pink Sky Over Deep Waters, as a reflection of light, atmosphere, and depth — where soft sky tones dissolve into darker, grounded layers below.

Working with acrylic on canvas, I built the composition through multiple layers using palette knife and expressive brushwork. Airy shades of soft blue, pale grey, and muted ivory blend with delicate violet and pink tones, creating a luminous upper space. These lighter areas are contrasted by deep charcoal, black, and cool blue tones in the lower section, forming a strong visual foundation.

Subtle ochre accents add warmth and natural depth, bringing a refined glow to the composition without overpowering the palette. The textured surface interacts beautifully with light, revealing new nuances and transitions throughout the day.
