A beautiful young woman , playing the viola. She was a member of a string quartet. But I loved her face, which shows her commitment to the music, and her fellow musicians. The abstract background is just dark , her face emerging from the dark , in the style of many of the old masters. , but her face is lit up by some fiery red surrounding her.
The painting is done on a gallery canvas, and is painted around the sides. Framing is not necessary.
