Asleep at Midnight (2018) Original Mixed-media Sculpture by Seona Mason

£460

This figurative, abstract sculpture has been made from records, perspex and mirror. The organic figure on the front has been formed from multiple pieces of vinyl music record and attached to a grey perspex circle. The circle has then raised above the mirror and 3 layers of original 12" vinyl music records. The curves along the body remain as curves on a record.

Although a deep black, the vinyl beautifully reflects light, and the 3D figure allows light to pass behind it and cast interesting shadows upon the wall.

2 acrylic keyhole hangers have been attached to the back of the wall sculpture.
