Painted on 3mm thick canvas board.

This painting is supplied framed in a contemporary black frame with gold trim The oil painting captures a nostalgic still life: a vintage box of Pioneer matches resting on a rich, dark background, which lends the scene an air of quiet reverence and drama. The matchbox, weathered at the edges, bears its iconic retro label— green and red with bold typography 

The box sits slightly askew, with two matches with their blue phosphorous tips catching a sliver of light.

The dark background isolates the scene, drawing the viewer’s eye to the intricate details of the matchbox and the subtle play of light and shadow across its surface, giving the painting a quiet, almost contemplative mood.

The painting is initialed on the front and signed on the reverse.
