Artwork description
This amazing villa with imposing garden has a changeable history. The property was built in 1036 as a church and used as a monastery from 1579-1810. After that, it was confiscated by Napoleon Bonapart and sold in 1812 to a earl as a residence. During the world war II, it was a internment camp for women (1940-1960).
