Original artwork description
An acrylic plein-air painting sketch of Rockcliffe bay and cottages. The beautiful contrast of the pink granite rocks and white row of cottages backed by the green trees. Made for an outstanding view from which to create a painting. When the tide comes in the vista completely changes. I loved the pink/mauve of the distant hills - a truely fun and aesthetic composition. This was just over an hour to paint. Painted in acrylic on waterford paper.
