Original artwork description
White is the predominant color in this picture. It is the last layer of paint that gives this picture its velvety tone, enveloping everything in silence, almost like snow or fog. It could be a landscape, but it could also be a view of the sea. The lower layers of paint, which came to light through sanding, show colorful traces ranging from light blue to gray and pink.

The painting has multilayers of acrylic paint on canvas making this work highly textural. The canvas is stretched over professionally made deep edged stretcher bars.
