Boats are one of my favorite subjects. I love the metaphor of journey, and the beauty of form and function. This little vessel is specific to the mangrove forests of Pearl Lagoon. This painting is beautifully framed in Mahogany. It is signed on the back and ready to hang.
Materials used:
12 oz. cotton canvas stretched over a wooden frame. Oil paint over acrylic size. Mahogany edge frame, 3/4 inch face.
