Original artwork description
Vessel explores fractal geometry as both visual language and metaphor for human continuity. Fractal proportions appear throughout all natural forms of life — and as part of nature, we are no exception. We're not separate from nature, but one of its recurring patterns.
The composition is built on the Golden Heart fractal — the intersection of two Golden Spirals. This fractal nature of self-repetition also appears in human symbolism. The human figure has long been associated with the star, a form that endlessly regenerates itself. This connection makes sense when we consider body proportions. Like a star, humans give birth to new life — life similar to themselves. A woman holds her child close to her heart, becoming the space through which life continues.
The static composition captures a dynamic inner process unfolding within this tender form. Birth emerges not only as biological event, but as fractal continuation of life, shaped by the most fundamental force — love.
