"Vera pelle" is a 30x30 centimeters / 11.811 x 11.811 inch work that is part of the "Heart in another skin" series. A human heart covered in black leather, with stitching and a zipper, becomes the protagonist of this painting. The zip almost seems to promise to reveal something unexpected. The antique pink background, decorated with stencils of the same color, but lighter, creates a delicate contrast with the black leather of the heart.
All made with acrylic colors on fine-grained cotton canvas mounted on a frame.
The work is equipped with a removable hanger and is signed by me on the back together with the title and year of creation. It will be shipped with a certificate of authenticity, carefully packaged and shipped via courier with tracking number.
