In “Velvet Magenta,” layered pigment and organic movement allude to the way memories ebb and swell, sometimes fragmentary, at other times clear and insistent. Shifts between smooth impasto and airy washes suggest rhythms of presence and absence, grounding the composition in both visual comfort and dynamic motion.

Materials and Process
Each gesture and mark is deliberate, blending acrylic mediums, pigments, and modeling paste to achieve sculptural depth and tactile richness. The process embraces chance and control, with palette knives, brushes, and unconventional tools carving ephemeral shapes—a choreography of instinct and intention.
