While painting this piece, I wanted to capture the gentle resilience of flowers in a quiet winter setting. I kept the background cool and hazy so the red roses could radiate warmth against the chill. With loose yet decisive strokes, I shaped the petals and the reflections on the glass vase, then added splattered white dots to evoke drifting snow. My goal was to balance coldness and beauty in a subtle, poetic tension.
