I’m most attracted to scenes with busy people spilling onto the roadside. In this painting I’ve put the people, movement, and a great angle. This is another inspired by my visits to Bangkok, Thailand.
There will be more 'urban moments' to come...
The paper I use is a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand.. The paper is a thick parchment paper, solid yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
