I’m most attracted to scenes with busy people spilling onto the roadside. Here there’s the people, movement, and a great angle. There will be more 'urban moments' to come...
The paper I use is a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. It’s a thick parchment paper, solid yet pliable. The paper is made to this size to get the unique, uneven deckled edges which adds to the overall textural effect. The close up pictures are to get a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress.
