My ongoing photographic series examines the raw and overlooked geometry of urban environments. I am drawn to city areas marked by architectural rhythm, surface decay, and subtle traces of human presence. These are the spaces between attention — forgotten corners, neglected facades, visually banal streets — where form and texture speak louder than function or purpose.
Working primarily in black and white, I embrace high contrast, visible grain, and a slightly grunge aesthetic to translate the tactile atmosphere of the city into a visual language of tension and texture. The absence of color emphasizes structure, shadow, and tone — the elemental qualities of light that reveal the city’s layered memory.
Occasionally, figures appear: a passing silhouette, a fragment of a body, a reflection caught in glass. They serve as quiet interruptions — reminders of life within the architectural grid, transient presences within enduring forms.
Through these images, I aim to document not the spectacle of the city, but its ongoing intervals — the unnoticed rhythm of spaces that persist in the margins, suspended between use and abandonment, order and entropy.
Printed as limited edition giclée prints on 300g White Matte paper.
Titled, signed and numbered on the front.
Please note that colors and image contrast may vary slightly due to monitor differences.
