I was really excited by 'Upland storm 1'. I wanted to see if I could capture again the feeling of actually 'being somewhere', even in an improvised painting. What do you think? Personally I'd like to be in a place like this more often!

Beyond viewing the painting as a whole image, I find it fascinating to also focus on smaller areas, so I can explore this imaginary landscape. It will be different for every person who sees it.

The white border has some inadvertent paint on it, so I have shown it as if trimmed to the image size and fitted to a custom frame, or framed with a mount (plain white in this case). This is reflected in the price.

The size of the painting in the room setting is only approximate. Please refer to the accurate measurements below. The painting is on very thick watercolour paper. Even so, it is not completely flat. Your framer will advise you on an appropriate method of framing.

The painting will be sent rolled gently in a strong box, with plenty of padding.
