In this work, I wanted to capture the silent tension of a space of passage: Venice's railway station, with its curved tracks and the suspended geometries of the electric wires, opens up toward the lagoon. A seemingly technical and cold scene is transformed into a poetic drawing, where structure and landscape merge.
The work is hand-printed using an alternative photographic process that gives depth and materiality to the image, enhancing its contemplative dimension.
I’m interested in revealing what remains invisible in the everyday: the time of waiting, architecture as a silent stage, the hidden beauty of transit places.
