Original artwork description
This abstract painting has been built over many thin layers of paint and grew out of a slow process. The starting point for this piece has been the colour scheme and an imagined interior landscape.
I enjoyed bold brush strokes and more detailed mark making in this piece. I mixed my own paint with different hues of soft blues, pinks, reds and grey.
The canvas has been painted around the edges in a complementary colour.
The painting comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
The painting is framed in a homemade white, wooden float frame. Hooks and cord are attached at the back – the painting is ready for hanging.
