Glazed ceramic sculpture of a hand gripping a human heart. Inspired by the work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini and his incredible artistry in depicting the pressure marks of hands on flesh, it aims to represent the sensations surrounding intense love or loss and the concept that there is no escape from such emotions. There are two iterations of this idea, this one finished in metallic effect and red glazes.
