This artwork was featured in the exhibition «Unbreakable Flowers», a showcase dedicated to wartime botanical art. On paper, I combined bright, saturated colours that emphasise the thirst for life and translucent, muted tones that indicate the process of transformation of the plant into another state. It represents the termination of all things past and the beginning of something new. This reflects a reevaluation of a life that once seemed carefree and, to some extent, even illusory.
