Artwork description
A limited edition, hand printed screen print, made in England.
The mixed media artwork is based on a photo that I take of the Pastel-Coloured Houses of Chalcot Square in Primrose Hill, in North London. I have added some poetic elements: flowers, lovely insects, beautiful butterflies, old stamps, labels... that give a retro style to the picture and also embraced a kind of scrapbooking style.
The colours are very bright: pink, violet, yellow. Some elements are made with paper collage which increase the effect of scrapbooking and craft.
Please note colour may vary (only slightly) in the flesh.
This screen print was created from photographies. It has paper collage added on it (the flowers on the left and the label on top). It is hand printed in water based inks on 300gsm Cartridge Paper.

Limited edition of 17 prints.
