This little Black and White Table scene is exceedingly "Naive" in style, but there is nothing lacking regarding the pops of color that set off the piece. Personal effects are scattered about the table; from Fruits to Flowers and a Coffeepot. We guess that the articles pictured give us clues about the people not pictured. This painting is done in Acrylic and is painted around and the edges.... My contention is that we NEVER use enough Black and White in decorating! If preferred, the painting could hang unframed.... If purchase together with the companion piece; the other Black Table Scene, the two pieces receive a discount of $25, making the pair $275.00,(before shipping).
