Spring is here in my corner of Kent, south east England and this painting is a celebration of that. I love the green leaves and grasses of early spring, when everything feel very fresh and new.

I have used many layers of acrylic paint, washed, brushed, flicked, smoothed, scraped off and re-applied, and put on with palette knives in order to create a rich and interesting paint surface.

This 75x60cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.

You will also receive a certificate of authenticity and a set of postcards.

Materials used:

acrylic paint, canvas
