First week of May 2026, after spending time closely studying William Nicholson's at the Pallant House gallery, I came home and painted this to explore the metallic surface outside of the traditional palette.
These two stainless steel teapots are from one of the many photos I took that day at the gallery café, when the thought suddenly struck me — these teapots are singing to me! There was a croissant on the small plate at the bottom right which was a good friend of the tea.
