Original artwork description
I've been experimenting making Koi in polymer clay, using the Mokume Gane technique, and then coating them in resin to give a watery look.
Mokume-Gane is a decorative Japanese metal working technique, which originated from the 17th century when it was used to decorate samurai swords, and has been used with other materials such as polymer clay for many years now.

As with all my pieces they can be created with any choice of colour so do please message me if you would like to discuss a commission.
