Magpies Two for Joy (2026) Linocut by Mariann Johansen-Ellis

Magpies are such curious birds, they come around to see what I am doing, sometimes picking over the garden rubbish to see what is in there, something shiny maybe? Original art as a gift is a wonderful thing, this print is perfect for your friend the gardener, your friend the bird watcher or maybe it is just to make your home a happy place?
On a piece of warm white best quality printmaking paper, I have printed the magpies and then layered my flowers in all blue tones with a touch of green, everything is printed from all my own linocuts onto the paper in several runs through the printmaking press. As these prints all come out different I have signed it as a monoprint.

The paper measures 50cm x 70 cm ( 20" x 27")
with the actual printed area measuring 46 cm x 63 cm (18" x 25")
and it comes signed, titled and numbered one of one, which means you receive this very print.
