I painted this work because I’m drawn to moments where nothing is resolved yet.
Two forces exist side by side. Neither wins. Neither loses.
One represents restraint, clarity, control.
The other stands for ripeness, desire, attraction.
Both are present. Both are valid.
What interests me is the inner pause we usually skip.
The moment when we feel what we want—and at the same time know what we could resist.
Not as a moral issue, but as a human tension.
This still life is not about conflict.
It’s about balance.
A quiet state between impulse and decision.

They collect a stance: awareness without immediate action.
