TUSCANY MOONLIGHT OF MY DREAMS is a textural impressionist impasto palette knife oil painting from my BLOOMING PLANETS series. I painted this landscape inspired by the endless beauty of Tuscany, Italy into a semi abstract manner, in impasto technique with bold, explosive palette knife strokes that create those almost sculptural textures of vibrant, saturated, colorful oil paints that I love so much.
Vivid red poppies dominate the foreground of the scene, contrasting with a swirling blue sky . A serene body of water reflects the luminous full moon, while a mountain range looms in the distance under the dynamic and textured night sky.
