The Cappella della Madonna di Vitaleta, or the Chapel of the Madonna of Vitaleta, is a small chapel situated amidst fields and rows of cypress trees in the Val d'Orcia region. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, who is said to have appeared to a shepherdess in the area.

Despite its modest size and remote location, the chapel has gained significance and is now recognized as a prominent feature of one of the world's most renowned landscapes. Located near San Quirico d'Orcia, it was constructed on the site of a previous tabernacle.

The chapel's picturesque setting, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Tuscan countryside, has made it an iconic symbol of the region, attracting visitors and pilgrims alike to admire its simple yet striking architecture and serene atmosphere.
