Original artwork description:

Let me introduce you to my unusual painting.
An unusual style and new material for me. However, I have been doing this technique for more than a year. But it was a learning, mastering some techniques; this is encaustic. This technique is even older than oil painting. But it was forgotten for centuries. And now it's being revived again.
I like encaustic painting because it can be combined with many other materials. You can be imaginative and experimental. In this painting, I used watercolour.
I then fixed it on a thick MDF board. I then covered the watercolours with several layers of wax medium. I then embossed it, also with a particular medium. You don't have to worry about the integrity of the painting. It's not just wax. The melting point of the medium is 70 degrees Celsius. So even in the hottest summer, the layers of the painting will stay intact.
