painted on canvas panel, needs frame for hanging; the brightly colored tulips were photographed by Balbir Krishan in NY, who allowed me to use his photo as reference for this painting. I used thick impasto oil paints and quick brush strokes for this painting. It is textured and the contrasting colors add a burst of energy to this painting.
